Competition Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all competitions (“Competition(s)”) run by PRIVATEDIALUK LIMITED, trading as Private Dial (“we”, “us”, “our”). By entering a Competition, entrants (“you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility
2.1 Competitions are open only to UK residents aged 18 or over.
2.2 Proof of age and address may be required before a prize is awarded.
2.3 Employees of Private Dial, their immediate family members, or any suppliers associated with the Competitions are not eligible to enter.
2.4 Entries from outside the UK will not be accepted.
3. How to Enter
3.1 You may

3.2.2 Include the following handwritten information:
Full name
Postal address
Email address
Telephone number
The Competition name
Your answer to the Competition question
3.2.3 Each postal entry must be sent separately in its own envelope.
3.2.4 Participants may submit as many postal entries as they wish; however, each postal card will count as one single entry only. If multiple tickets, requests, or attempts are included within the same postal entry, it will still be treated as one (1) entry.
3.2.5 No confirmation of postal entries will be sent.
4. Competition Period
4.1 Opening and closing dates for each Competition are shown on the relevant Competition page.
4.2 We reserve the right to extend or close Competitions early in exceptional circumstances (e.g. events beyond our control).
5. Prizes
5.1 The prize(s) for each Competition are as stated on the Competition page, including any relevant restrictions or conditions.
5.2 We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary.
5.3 Prizes are non-transferable, but winners may sell or dispose of their prize as they wish once awarded.
6. Winner Selection
6.1 All correct entries will be entered into the draw.
6.2 The winner will be chosen using a random number generator, broadcast live via our social media channels (Facebook/YouTube).
6.3 If a generated number corresponds to an unsold ticket, a new number will be generated until a winner is found.
6.4 All draws are guaranteed to take place, even if not all entries are sold.
7. Notification of Winner
7.1 Winners will be contacted by email or telephone within 7 days of the Competition closing date.
7.2 If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 5 days, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected.
8. Delivery of Prizes
8.1 Prizes will be delivered or made available for collection as described on the Competition page.
8.2 Delivery is free within the UK unless otherwise stated.
8.3 Winners must provide proof of identity before receiving a prize.
9. Publicity & Data Protection
9.1 We may publish the winner’s name and town of residence on our website and social media for transparency.
9.2 Participation in promotional activity (e.g. interviews, photos) is voluntary and subject to the winner’s consent.
9.3 We may be required to provide winner details to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) upon request.
9.4 Personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
10. Disqualification
10.1 We may disqualify entries if:
- 10.1.1 Entrants provide false, misleading, or incomplete information.
- 10.1.2 More than 99 paid entries are attempted per transaction.
- 10.1.3 Multiple free entries are submitted in a single envelope.
- 10.1.4 Entrants attempt to tamper with or unfairly influence the Competition.
11. Refunds
11.1 Entry fees are non-refundable, including for incorrect answers or disqualified entries.
11.2 No refunds are given if a Competition does not sell out, as all draws are guaranteed.
12. Complaints
12.1 If you have a complaint, contact us at support@privatedial.co.uk.
12.2 We will attempt to resolve complaints internally before considering external remedies.
13. Liability
13.1 We will not be responsible for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted, or not properly submitted.
13.2 We accept no liability for loss or damage suffered by entrants, except where caused by our negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory duty.
13.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
14. Governing Law
14.1 These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. General
15.1 We reserve the right to cancel or amend Competitions where necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.
15.2 By entering, you agree that these Terms, along with details on each Competition page, form the entire agreement between you and us.

These Website Terms & Conditions (“Terms of Use”, “Terms”) govern your use of the Private Dial website (the “Site”), including access to content, services, features and tools offered from time to time on or through the Site. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
